1-800-Registry announced that John Bamforth has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer. Bamforth is responsible for leading the day-to-day technology activities of the company, as well as building and maintaining efficiency standards and processes. Bamforth brings a strong background in technology operations, most recently serving as the Chief Information and Technology Officer at Nextag, Inc., where he led all software development, project management, operations and IT in the San Mateo offices. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Engineering at Leapfrog Enterprises, the Vice President of Enterprise Software and Voice Operations at Virgin Mobile USA and as the Senior Director of Systems Development at Northpoint Communications. Bamforth earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the University College of Tulane University. He earned his Graduate Certificate in Technology Business at Southern Methodist University.

Taylor Winfield was charged with finding a talented and experienced IT professional to build a well integrated business platform and rapidly expand the technological capabilities of the company. Bamforth combines strong business acumen and a proven track record in the development and delivery of advanced technology solutions.

Chuck Davison is appointed Vice President of Travel and Customer Experience for 1-800-Registry. In his new post, Davison will be responsible for developing, selling and delivering a great customer experience along with innovative products and services. Davison most recently served as the General Manager of Expedia Inc. where he led the Local Expedia Destination Services business. During his tenure at Expedia, he built strong strategic partner relationships, expanded distribution and increased revenue. Previously, he served as the Executive Director of Calvary Spring Valley Corporation, the Vice President of Marketing and Sales at the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower and as the Director of Marketing and Sales for the Golden Nugget Laughlin at Mirage Resorts Inc. Davison earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
