Anna Bassignana’s career in executive search consultancy started with Proposte in Turin in 1999, and she became a Principal in Penrhyn International in 2006. She has particular experience of the consumer goods, financial services, automotive and metallurgical sectors.
After four years as a lawyer in professional practice, and in the legal department of Toro Assicurazioni, Anna was appointed Head of the Legal Department of Luigi Lavazza S.p.A in 1990. Luigi Lavazza is one of the world’s best known and most successful coffee producers. Later she managed the Human Resources function, and from 1994 to 1999 was HR Manager for the Lavazza Group, responsible for the recruitment, management and development of human resources in a rapidly growing and changing context. Lavazza employs 1,700 people and has subsidiaries and distributors in more than 80 countries.
Anna graduated in Law from the University of Turin, and also qualified as an advocate. She speaks English, French and German.
