Clare Ireland’s practice covers all of Western Europe, and she specialises in serving European and North American multinational companies. Clare’s career in executive search started in 1988 as Head of Operations for a leading contract research firm. She joined Hansar International, a Penrhyn International member firm, in Brussels in 1995, and became a Principal of Penrhyn International in 1999.
Prior to entering search, Clare worked for a consulting firm which specialised in monitoring and producing reports for selected U.S. multinationals on EC policy and trends, mostly in the chemical sector. In 1997-98 she was seconded from Hansar to Nike Europe as Head of Talent Procurement.
Clare has an MBA from the Open University in the UK. She speaks French and English.
