John Salmon’s career in executive recruitment started in 1984. He became a Principal in Penrhyn International when Osprey Clarke, which he founded, was elected to membership of Penrhyn International. John’s search experience covers a variety of industrial sectors, with a particular depth in retail financial services.
Before becoming an executive search consultant John worked for Shell as a Retail Planning Manager. He subsequently held senior positions in Strategic Planning and Marketing with Dalgety and Uniroyal. Before founding Osprey Clarke he was a Director of Hoggett Bowers and a Partner at Stanton Chase.
John has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology.
