Roy Hitchman has more than 36 years of experience in executive search. In 1986 he founded his own company, which in 1992 became a member of Penrhyn International. Since 1974 he has completed a variety of board level engagements, as well as searches for chief executives and all major line and corporate staff functions in a wide spectrum of business sectors, such as manufacturing, general services, logistics, life sciences, media, communication technology, private banking and insurance. His clients range in size from multinational corporations to mid-sized companies in Switzerland, Germany and other major countries in Europe. A majority of his clients are owner-managed companies.
Roy graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. He speaks German, English and French. He has been a member of the board of directors of M.M. Warburg Bank (Schweiz) AG since 1998 and served as Chairman of Penrhyn International from 2000 to 2002.
