Experience

Dr. Philip Wenger is Founder and CEO of Dr. Wenger Executive Search, an owner-led executive search boutique based in Düsseldorf.

He has nearly 25 years of experience in executive search and senior leadership consulting, with a focus on C-level, Vice President, Director and senior management positions in Germany and the DACH region.

He works primarily with industrial companies, mid-sized businesses, family-owned companies, and organizations in growth and transformation situations. He advises owners, CEOs, managing directors and decision-makers on direct search, role clarification, structured assessment, and senior leadership appointments.

Before founding Dr. Wenger Executive Search, he was Managing Partner and Shareholder of the German executive search firm Expertalis.

Dr. Wenger also has extensive international executive search experience. He was a founding member of the international executive search network Future Manager World and served as Vice President Central, North and East Europe. He later served as Member of the Board of Directors of Penrhyn International.

Other information

Dr. Wenger has lived, studied and worked in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Norway and the United States. These experiences, combined with extensive international project work, shape his cross-cultural perspective in executive search.
