Experience

Following his studies in Social Sciences, Jules began his career as a consultant and for 10 years he worked for various organizations in the chemical, financial, and IT industry. There, he quickly learned to get to the heart of the matter and reduce complex situations to what really matters. During the 15 years he worked as an HR Director for international organizations in financial and business services, manufacturing, and the technology sector, he witnessed firsthand how decisive the composition of leadership teams is for employee culture and engagement, and consequently for the company’s results. That experience now forms the basis of his work in executive search. 

At Maes & Lunau, Jules predominantly works for companies in Industry & Automotive, Professional & Financial Services and Hightech & Technology. His driving force is consciously breaking with established norms as Jules recognizes how valuable it can be when someone with different experiences joins a team, thereby opening up new possibilities. With humor, a sense of perspective, and attention to people and context, he guides executives in making choices that shape the future.

Other information

Jules loves the outdoors and spends a lot of time walking, road cycling, or playing padel. The goal of this is to relax while continuously challenging and developing himself. He also loves enjoying the little things in life with family and friends.
